Strawberry Sunday

Born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Bob Pettes' drawing talent was discovered in grade school and continued to be utilized through college. The G.I. Bill offered formal instruction at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Mr. Pettes made his career as a commercial artist and illustrator working for various advertisement and consumer products companies. In recent years, he has developed his own "Americana" style in his paintings which has appealed to major galleries as well as publishers and gift manufacturers.
