This is Tigertown! The Detroit Tigers are one the eight original American League franchises. They hold the record for being the oldest one-city, one-name team in the American League. The team has won numerous pennants and 4 World Series Championships. Many great players have played here but Ty Cobb has cast a huge shadow. The current teams are destined to push some more future hall of famers into the lexicon of baseball. The tigers have had 4 previous homes but since 2000 have been at Comerica Park - home of the largest scoreboard in MLB (featuring tigers that growl with light up eyes), an amusement park, and tigers, tigers everywhere.
