| Of all the artists pursuing the Art Deco style, one of the most memorable was Tamara De Lempicka. With French origins, Deco was part of an exotic, sexy, and glamorous Paris. |
Polish Art Deco painter Tamara de Lempicka (1898 –1980) was one of only a few female pioneers of what is known today as "glamour art". One of the largest collections of her work is owned by the Pop singer Madonna whose on-stage and music video costumes have often been influenced by de Lempicka's paintings.
